Federal Workplace Harassment Enforcement: EEOC Rescinds 2024 Guidance
Federal workplace harassment enforcement entered a new phase in January 2026. The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission voted 2-1 to rescind its 2024 Enforcement Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace. The original guidance, issued in April 2024, was the EEOC's first comprehensive update on harassment in roughly 25 years.
