M. Megan O’Malley
M. Megan O’Malley is a principal and founding member of O’Malley & Madden, P.C. She focuses her practice on civil rights and employment law. She is committed to advancing workplace equality, and has successfully litigated hundreds of cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as representing whistleblowers in retaliation claims.
She has extensive trial experience in federal and state courts and administrative agencies and has successfully argued before the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Illinois Appellate Court on behalf of employees.
Beyond litigation, Ms. O’Malley advises individuals on career transitions, employment contracts, and restrictive covenants, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.
Ms. O’Malley also completed a Mediation Skills Training program at Northwestern University and she is available to serve as a mediator to assist other parties in resolving their disputes. Ms. O’Malley is a firm believer that where parties can come together to have a meaningful dialogue, they are often able to resolve a dispute outside of litigation on mutually agreeable terms.
When not practicing law, you can find Megan running on the beautiful lake path, enjoying one of Chicago’s many wonderful parks or festivals, or spending time with her husband and two super amazing daughters.
